Bridgewood Public School opened in September 2016, a brand new school built to house students from the former Gladstone Public School and East Front Public School, both of which closed in June 2016. We all love our big, beautiful school!
In January 2023, we opened 3 additional off-site satellite classrooms over at the DEV Centre with a focus on helping the asylum-seeking children living there build literacy and math skills. These students have taught us all so much and become a wonderful addition to our Bridgewood school community. They come over to the main school for events and celebrations, and participate in inter-school sports tournaments alongside students from the main school site.
