Your Nutrition Team
There is a strong link between nutrition and learning, and thus children who eat well are more likely to perform better and be less tired in school. Healthy Eating for Better Learning (HEBL) is the student nutrition program of The Upper Canada Leger Centre for Education and Training (UCLCET) supporting schools in the five counties of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott, and Russell. It is designed to improve nutritional health among children and youth. The program provides funding and ongoing support for healthy breakfasts, snacks and/or lunches, with the goal of supporting better learning, development and healthy growth.
We are hoping that Bridgewood will continue to be a recipient of funding for a breakfast/morning meal program.
With your support we will be able to continue to offer this to our students.
